Kindergarten Finger Play - Two Coconut Trees

Kindergarten kids loves doing finger play. This is entitiled "Two Coconut Trees". A Finger Play where we use pointer fingers as coconuts, wires as middle fingers and birds as thumb.  Demonstrate the action first and let them follow, let them identify the fingers used in the finger play, then let them sing the song only with action first.

Song Lyrics:

"Two coconut trees, stand straight (pointer finger up)
and tall    (pointer finger pointing higher)
Two little wires (right and left middle finger facing each other)
came across  (right and left middle finger connecting each other)
Two little birds ( thumb point up)
hop on     (thumb touch to middle fingers)
And they said "Tweeet-tweeet" (swing your hands)
 And they said "Tweeet-tweeet"

Lets read the book for more kindergarten fun finger plays:
