Kindergarten Air Unit - Air Crafts
Kindergarten Science Unit - Air Around Us
Lets read the book: Air Is All Around You (Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science 1) by HarperCollins
We did simple experiments to show them how things move, the uses of air, the cause of air pollution and learn ways how to clean the air.

Balloon Powered Milk Box Car
This is for made for Air Unit. Air is everywhere. The movement of air is called wind. In this craft we use balloon to power up the speed of our milk box car. We use recycled milk box designed as cars, we made a hole where the straw should be inserted. Kids blow up / inflates the balloon, when the air is released, it would push the car enabling it to run.
This was a fun craft made by kids, we even let them do car racing. Trying out whose car can run the fastest of all. We also use these craft on out Transportation Unit. We also touched push and pull topics.
Volcanic Eruption Kindergarten Experiment
Kids were group into four and let them mold their own volcano using play dough/clay. Once clay volcano is done! They will pour the ingredients. Look at how busy they are building their volcanoes. Haha they were really excited for the explosion to happen! We added red ink to the mixture just to add color to our lava.
Lets the fun experiment begin! Their reactions we're really stunning!
After every group already presented they were still asking to do it again once more. Since we still have baking soda and vinegare so we let them do the explosion of their volcanoes again.
We would love to read your fun experiments too in the comment section below.
